Who We Are

Smith Timber Works story began in 2004. Born from a passion for great carpentry, and a quest for some extra spending money (for fishing), Brock set out with not much more than a tool pouch, a Toyota pickup and a flip phone. Along the way we have been fortunate to connect with other like-minded individuals, who have helped shape us and joined our team. Today, Smith Timber Works has a permanent work location and is run by a team of trained and experienced designers and builders. We feel proud to be able to say that we design, build, and ship projects across North America.

Our Vision is to continue growing into the future as an industry leader in wood and prefabrication, design / build and best business practice. We aim to be a company of the highest possible caliber, aiming for excellence at every level and creating equity for all participants.

Our Mission is to provide cutting edge service and products with a team whose values and direction are aligned. We are a forward focused firm specializing in Digital construction, Timber Framing and Prefabrication.
